About the Kraaijenbergse Plassen

The Kraaijenbergse Plassen form a vast lake area of over 475 hectares in the Land of Cuijk, which is located in the northeastern part of the province of North Brabant. It comprises the municipalities Grave, Cuijk, Mill and St. Hubert, Boxmeer and Sint Anthonis. The area which the Kraaijenbergse Plassen consists of is spread over the municipalities of Cuijk and Grave and is one of the largest wetlands in North Brabant.

About 2016 a start will be made with Waterpark Dommelsvoort.

The Kraaijenbergse Plassen are open all year and freely accessible for everyone.

Tourism and Recreation

The Kraaijenbergse Plassen is a unique natural and recreational area that is popular among tourists and day trippers for good reason. Around the lakes is a beautiful area with 9 miles of hiking and biking trails, ideal for cyclists and walkers. There is a large beach where you can relax, sunbathe, play football, picnic and enjoy the view.
Alongside swimming, the lakes also have plenty of possibilities for sailing, surfing, rowing or to make a nice canoe trip along the nature that is surrounding the Kraaijenbergse Plassen. For example, look at Bij Ceulemans group accommodation and sailing.
In the village Linden is a marina (also passers-port) with more than 200 berths. Of course, the lakes also provide plenty of fishing opportunities.
The Kraaijenbergse Plassen are there for anyone who loves water.
